The Haritham Tree Plantation initiative focused on increasing green cover and promoting environmental sustainability on our campus. This program involves planting varieties of trees and shrubs across campus grounds, aiming to enhance the ecosystem, improve air quality, and create a more aesthetically pleasing environment. Through organized planting events and ongoing maintenance, the initiative fosters ecological awareness among students and staff, encouraging them to participate actively in environmental conservation.
The program was on June 5th, 2024, on World Environment Day. Sri. Muhammed Chavassery (Environmental Activist) was the chief guest in this program and inaugurated the program by planting a tree. Forty varieties of plants sponsored by Alumni: planted across the campus. The program was organized by the Alumni Association and in hand with NSS and the "Bhoomithrasena" Club.
The Principal, Shri: Promod Chathampalli, Staff, Alumni Association representatives, and students participated in the event.
